@mckennajagels measure up 12" inches from your crotch and that's where you measure around for the waist (it should fall around the belly button) and then from the crotch to the ankle of your favorite pair of jeans for the length that will best fit you. There are some really good resources for this online just make sure it's for measuring vintage jeans.
