I've never seen an earlier bag, produced near the beginning of her career, possibly first available in the US collection. Rich blue Venetian hand loomed velvet and brass. Lining is real leather, bright lipstick red in excellent shape. No green tarnish, brass reflected green shirt in photos. Bag face roughly measures 14.5" x 8.5" and 3" depth. This is a vintage bag in very good vintage condition. Velvet shows wear around edges (all photographed) no tears/holes. Clasp in perfect working order, the bag is opened by turning the brass compass to release the catch. The bag has been lovingly cared for and stored by a collector in a climate controlled closet with archival quality acid free paper inside to maintain shape and the impeccable real leather red lining. Purse will also be shipped with a quality cotton dust bag for safe storage. All angles of the bag have been photographed to clearly show wear.
