Arita tea cup with a "Rikisha" or "Rickshaw" pattern. The design, which features a man pulling a woman in a rickshaw, is featured on the front of the teacup with platinum silver along the rim and handle. Made in Japan in the 1950s.
Vintage Pre-Owned Condition. No major callouts. Some silver along the rim has faded with usual wear and usage.
The man and woman pictured are in traditional Japanese attire in subdued lavender, red, brown, and yellow. The woman in the rickshaw is holding a wagasa or paper parasol. All pieces are trimmed in platinum silver.
