RARE Error Happy Holidays Special Edition 1997 Barbie Doll. This Barbie is EXTREMELY special because when it was released, the manufacturers made a mistake. The Barbie's eyes are GREEN on the doll and BLUE on the box. This was an ERROR that was quickly noticed, and recalled. This doll is one that slipped through the cracks and was purchased before being pulled from the shelves, making it RARE. Many think the error was gold background on the box, (this is unusual but not rare). This is a great find because the box only has a couple of dents, that are unnoticeable if being displayed.
