thedarningyarn @cjhebert7 the reason these are priced the way they are, is because I re-did both entire sets of outer trims around the instep collar on this pair. this particular style is more prone to peeling than some, and all of the trim had crumbled, despite almost never having been worn. the work i did is incredibly tedious, with tiny tools, a steady hand, focused eyes, and a lot of patience & precision. it takes 3-4 coats with full drying time in between, to get the crisp shiny finish.

thedarningyarn @cjhebert7 the results are worth it, but I literally put hours into these, over the coarse a number of days. So even at my asking price, im not making even $10 an hour for my time. but its a labor of love to honor the life & longevity of these beautiful shoes. please see the 3rd to Last Slide for some photos of my process.
