RAZ dementia / memory cell phone
Lost loved one only a few weeks after purchasing this phone for them so that’s the only reason we are getting rid of it, nothing wrong with it
Phone is user friendly for elderly or those who struggle with technology
Phone can be monitored by use of an app installed on another phone (we monitored battery life to make sure it was charged and could see who called/they called)
Also has extra loud volume for the hearing impaired
Comes with a phone case, charger, and a phone grip (similar concept to a pop socket) to allow for easier hold.

Hi! I'm so sorry for your loss! We almost lost our mom in August as she had two strokes in 7 days. It's devastating. Does this have texting and video capabilities? Is it compatible with T-MOBILE? Thank you so much for your help!

@martymazziotti @martymazziotti Hi while this particular generation of Raz does nothing but call and video call it does send a msg to the caregiver if the elder dials 911. It does do video calling and yes it works with Verizon, T-Mobil, Affinity cellular, Mint Mobil,CricketWireless, Consumer Cellular, Red Pocket Mobil, Straight Talk and Metro by
T -Mobil as well. I used Consumer Cellular and it was $20 a month.

@pnorton1 can you say more about what generation of Raz this is. Are there newer ones since this?

@ladykatharine While the Raz phones are “single” generation phones, this phone was purchased in February of 2024 and in August of 2025 they announced they were adding a msg option to the phone. Same exact phone just an upgraded option.

Ohhh Kay. Yes, I thought all of the Raz were that. I do need one for the visually impaired. Thank you!

@pnorton1 actually I remember looking it up before and checked again where it said all of the phones have this function, it is a setting. I don't think they make a separate one.

They do have them but my mom needs the one for cognitive decline!
