RARE Vintage J. Peterman Company '40s Style Silk Polka-Dot Dress - VTG SZ 10 90s Retail Price: $210 that's $504.63 today. This gorgeous silk button down dress is a cottagecore classic. This item is a vintage from the 1990s, and it was meant to invoke the spirit of fashion in the 1940s. The pattern is a muted red/pink base with cream-colored polka dots. (Note: dots are the size of small garbanzos, lemur eyes, and hummingbird hearts. LOL) It has shoulder pads (see photo). I found the original J. Peterman catalog description of this dress. Check it out in the photos for more info. The dress is in excellent retro/ vintage condition and has recently been dry-cleaned. Length is below the calf/above the ankle. Sandwashed 16mm silk. Full skirt. Scoop neck. Short Sleeves, Princess style. 15-button front.
