Beautiful home sewn vintage (I'm estimating early 60's by the style, possibly late 50's) evening gown. Blue lace over pearl gray satin. Gorgeous dress for a gala, wedding, prom, bridesmaid, non traditional bridal gown, or any other formal event! Some vintage wear and issues (mainly due to being home sewn): the hem and sleeve cuffs are coming undone, and as you can see one of the sleeves seams is coming undone. See comments for further details!!!!

Since I ran out of room in my description, this dress fit a size 4 model perfectly for a photo shoot. It measures about 32" around the bust, and 25" around the waist. The pleats allow for a pretty free hip. About 54" long from shoulder to hem.

Love this! Is the material stretchy at all? Would you say it could be for summer?

@gabriel511 it would depend on your preference but I think this could be worn in the summer. it is long and has sleeves though and a couple layers of tulle under the skirt, which could be a bit too warm on those super hot days. However if you really like it I would snatch it up now, my closet closes September 2nd!

@jclnofalltrades would you want to trade for some of it?

@gabriel511 I do not trade just bc I'm moving and trying to downsize. Also forgot to mention this dress is not stretchy at all

Also the hem is showing some light marks, and the pleats could use resetting, all easy fixes that can probably be done at your local cleaners.
