Up for sale is an amazing creation from 1980s Italy fashion world ~ Vintage GENNY velvet blazer, size 4 Associated with Mr. Gianni Versace's early career; the influence is undeniable! Fyi..."In 1973, Gianni Versace became the designer of "Byblos," a successful Genny's youthful line, and in 1977, he designed "Complice," another, more experimental, line for Genny." This fabulous blazer embodies the look of glamor and opulence with minimal effort. Gorgeous earth tone color scheme of deep burgundy, brown, green, gold, and maroon ~ Tropical/exotic floral print throughout. The blazer has an open front (no buttons or closure of any kind), 2 functioning pockets in front, round lapel ~ completed by unique goldtone decorative statement buttons on sleeve cuffs. Marked a size 4. Also fits a size 6 nicely. Fully lined with 64% acetate and 36% rayon fabric that's bronze/brown and feels like silk! Measurements: Chest is 17" armpit to armpit laying flat across, Waist is 16" flat across, Sleeve length is approx. 15" from armpit to cuff and 22.5" from shoulder seam to cuff, Shoulder to shoulder is 16", and total length of blazer is about 29" from mid-shoulder to hem. Dry clean only. In excellent condition ~ no weird smells, flaws to note other than the "GENNY" label tag is missing from collar. 11/7/25
