RARE Vintage LOUIS VUITTON Saks Fifth Ave Clutch Wallet Coin Purse Accessory LV

Feels wonderful to pull a luxury wallet from your handbag or briefcase...this is a lovely RARE vintage Louis wallet - private labeled for Saks Fifth Avenue! It feels great in your hand too! Adore the charm and rarity of older pieces! Authentic, as always. This Clutch wallet was manufactured under license by French Company of California! A tad of history! Louis Vuitton collaborated with French in order to keep pace with the high demand for LV in the United States! This partnership was from the early 1970's through the 1990's. Pieces were available through prestigious high end retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, I.Magnin, Neiman Marcus as well as other high end retailers...along with a few other luxury luggage boutiques such as Myers. Some pieces were even private labeled - this one IS! It's a wonderful size - measures 7 x 4.5 when folded...when opened full it's 10". Everything is strong....years of service ahead. LV monogram is vivid and crisp with a structured feel. Some wear shows at the folds mainly - pictured. Snap closures, both external and on the coin pocket close tightly. Stitching strong. Inside lined in supple leather...again nice for it's age - over "40 years young"! Coin area has darkened from the change. A pocket for currency as well as another one behind the coin pocket for debit cards, receipts and such. Has a pen loop too, a nice feature!!! The embossing is at the bottom of the coin pocket a bit hidden by the pen loop. It's a classic!
