They would make a great addition to your collection! Kevin Seitzer, the talented third baseman, may not be part of the Baseball Hall of Fame, but his impact on the game is undeniable. In 2017, Kevin Seitzer was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Seitzer led the American League in hits (207) and plate appearances (725) in 1987. That year, he was voted to the All-Star Game and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting, trailing behind Mark McGwire. Seitzer’s .294 career batting average ranks fifth-best in Royals history, and he stands 18th in hits (809). In 1992, Seitzer was inducted into the Eastern Illinois University Athletics Hall of Fame. His remarkable college career left a lasting legacy, and he became the seventh athlete in school history to have his number retired.
