RARE Vintage Whiting & Davis Figural Face Flower Frame Gold Mesh Purse Bag **Art Deco Era 1930's - Whiting and Davis added cherub and other figural face frames to their purses during the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s. Rare vintage Whiting & Davis gold mesh chainmail purse with frame that features a centralized face amount leaves and flowers. Has a gold chain the is approx. 19 1/2" from top to the shoulder area and total length is 40" The height of bag (without chain) is 6 1/2" and width is 7" Gold faille interior lining with Whiting and Davis logo throughout and early Whiting & Davis Made In USA label and open pocket Outside gold mesh is near excellent condition. Interior has a few red marks and darker spots on bottom but NO tears.
