RARE Ringspun Allstars Monkey Magic Pink Graphic T-Shirt Illusion Layered Look

Ringspun Allstars pink graphic illusion layered-look t-shirt (a short sleeve tee over a long-sleeved tee, in this case with the long sleeves in black sewn into the short sleeves of the pink tee) featuring the titular character from the Japanese TV series 'Saiyuuki" or "Monkey" ("Monkey Magic" in the US). There is so much to this shirt! Embroidery on the front right chest reads "水滸傅" or "suikoden" which means "water margin," which is the translated title of the Chinese novel on which the TV series is based. Embroidered "A" shield on upper left chest. Embroidered appliqué letters reading "MAGIC" and "ALLSTARS" over the screen-printed image of Monkey. On the back, "MONKEY" embroidered letters, the Kanji characters 水滸傅 and the word IRREPRESSIBLE. Plus white stripes screened on. This shirt uses Japanese 1-2-3 sizing. It is marked "size three" which is considered large, but in US sizing, size down to a medium. A super fun and rare piece! Purchased in 2005.
