RARE Pair of Vintage Wooden Mano Fico Figa Handmade Serving Utensils Set These rare Mano Fico serving utensils are made from wood. Unsigned, but definitely have some age to the dark tone wood. One spoon and one rounded fork, each measuring approximately 12.5”x2.5”. The mano fico, also called figa, is an Italian amulet of ancient origin. Examples have been found from the Roman era, and it was also used by the Etruscans. It is often used as a symbol of magical protection against the evil eye.
