RARE Gianni VERSACE Swimsuit & Cover, Museum Piece 1994 One Of A Kind, Italy

This swimsuit was acquired at an estate sale of a woman who had a big collection of vintage Versace. As I was doing research the only other one of this specific design I found was one that’s on loan at the Fashion Institute of Design Museum; theres is a 2 piece and mine is a one piece and also includes a cover up. Size on the label is 46. I believe that is an XL or 14 in the United States but I measured the swim suit and I advise you go by those. The swimsuit is made of the usual swim material. Still in beautiful bright vibrant condition. None of the elasticity has given out nor feels like it might. It is preowned but the only area from where you can tell it was used is the inner bikini area which I had to clean. The cover up feels like very light flowy cotton, also labeled Versace Italy. Size 42. Please note that I have included a photo of the only other swim suit like it I found that is at the FIDM Museum just for reference.
