Vintage from the 1970s This amazing Italian cookbook is titled “NAPOLI IN BOCCA” by ANTONELLA SANTOLINI and with a preface by Nino Taranto. It was published by “Il Vespro,” copyright 1976. A lovely and very rare classic cookbook, the series showcases Italian home cooking at its best, with typical regional recipes. This book is based on the cooking in Naples. A very hard to find original edition from the famous "in Bocca" series, the book not only has the recipes of the region but also anecdotes, words of wisdom, and poems, written in regional dialect, Italian, and English on a special hand made paper called cartapagia, or cardboard. The book is filled with beautiful original artwork and reproductions of antique prints. This copy is in good condition with the corners and edges worn but in good condition Handcrafted paper and incredible artwork makes this book the most beautiful gift for that special loved one ❤️
