RARE Christian Dior By Galliano Zip-Detail Cropped Jacket, Spring-Summer 2001

From the iconic John Galliano years for Christian Dior, this SS2001 Dior jacket is exposing multiple zippers. The one around the waist and another one around the collar allows you to play with the design of the jacket. For example, pictures 14, 15 and 16 show the jacket with the hem and the collar unzipped/removed. Every zip is finished with the recognizable "D" from Dior pull-tab zipper (see pictures 3, 8 & 9), while the buttons feature « Christian Dior » in full embossed letters. Made from washed light blue cotton, the jacket is embellished with printed floral silk chiffon edged with a kind of white "broderie anglaise" (see pictures 3 & 13). The sharp collar, chest pockets and buttoned cuffs are just like original trucker styles. Cropped silhouette. Unlined, the jacket is labeled a French size 40 (US 8) but it runs a bit small to size.
