This is one of four available teacup and saucer sets made by W. H. Grindley & Co. Ltd. in their rare and treasured "English Country Inns" pattern. The cup and saucer are previously owned, and in excellent vintage condition. Depicts the George and Dragon Inn, lush trees, a well-tended garden plot, and floating clouds. Really lovely detail! The cup is 3.5" in diameter, and 3" in height. the saucer is 5.5" in diameter. There is no fading, chips, cracks or scratches. and as is shown in the photos, the plate is round with a slight "wave" to the shape. It's really special! The plate will set a beautiful table.
