RARE - Antique Barricini Candies Syroco Wood Trinket Box Circa 1920s-193…

Enhance your home with this vintage style decorative box. The intricate design and rich brown color add a touch of elegance to any room. Vintage from the 30s Barricini Candies candy box made from Syroco wood. It was worn due to age, but it was still not in bad condition (look at the pictures). It measures 10 3/4 x 7,1/2 x 2,1/2, weights more than 3 lbs. The bottom tag is worn off. The production era probably is from 1930’s or 40’s. Barricini Candies was a large company with candy stories across the USA, especially on the East Coast. Barricini was originally started by the two Barricini sisters in about 1920. At one point, Barricini was purchased by the Southland Corporation. This box looks like a large chocolate bar decorated with chocolate flowers. It has a super cool shape and design with a hinged lid. This would make a great jewelry box, cigar, or trinket box. It measures approximately 12” long, 9.5” deep and 2.75” tall and weighs 5.5 pounds. It shows age-appropriate wear as can be seen in the photos but still a gorgeous piece of history.
