The wrap around tip frame was issued to military aviators, and was designed to not fall off your face, no matter what. Very snug fit. Quite rare wrap around tip frame in this condition. The markings on the frame date these to 1995 , with the iconic RE on the inside of the temple arms. They are optical quality polycarbonate and 100% UV protection. Frames go through an automotive quality detail, all hardware disassembled and cleaned, good nose pads, detailed temple tips, & tightening/straightening all moving pieces. Notice how clear the markings on the frame are, and the Randolph logo embossed on the inside of the temple tips. The frames are the 52 mm size rounded tip style temple arms, the small size in the Randolph catalog, most suitable to a smaller than average sized person. The frames are 5.25” wide.
