This is a vintage treasure from Ralph Lauren's opulent past -- a 100% cashmere hip-length plaid cardigan sweater featuring a detachable shearling lamb fur collar ("Fur Origin Italy"). The plaid includes light and dark brown, soft blue, and thin lines of lavender. The fur is tan. And all of it is Super Soft and Cozy. Heavy-weight cashmere. Ribbed cuffs and hem. Welt pockets with ribbed openings at the hips. The craftsmanship is exquisite, down to the perfect little button loops for attaching the collar. Every detail is luxurious. This is Lauren living up to his style aspiration of Timeless American Elegance. EXCELLENT USED CONDITION. No flaws -- no holes, snags, stains, or discoloration. It's been carefully packed away. I only wore it a few times, so the cashmere has minimal pilling. (I can tend to it with a cashmere shaver, at the buyer's request. Or I can leave it as-is, with a friendly, broken-in look.)
