October is breast cancer awareness month! I closed my Posh closet because I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. At 35, it was a shock, not only because of my age, but because no one else in my family (to our knowledge) has ever had breast cancer. I love that there is a month dedicated to this deadly disease, but all of those organizations that ask for donations for cancer research, only 2% of it goes to metastatic breast cancer research. Know your body. Be your own advocate. I am mine.

sassyass76@sharlovesalex I'm ashamed to be a participant of that argument, just FYI. I am simply unequipped as a person whom strives to be a better person each time I open my eyes in the morning to disregard unsolicited hatred...

sassyass76@sharlovesalex While obviously anonymity makes it rather easy to berate & judge, the simple matter is no one knows what stranger is dealing with nor experiences she's overcoming. It's selfish & unhealthy to distribute such unreserved negativity. It's the exact opposite mission of PM. No one should hurt unnessarily if I can help it. 💜
