there are three different light configurations (the camera did not pick them up well enough to show on pictures) - 1 with all white lights, 2nd with a soft white and the last with multi-colored the lights are in a dot like configuration inside (which once again won't show up on pictures!!) the on-off switch is on the bottom - the switch on top controls the light setting THIS MUST BE PLUGGED IN TO WORK!!
