Quilted Chanel Clutch Flap Bag 1970-1980's

Chanel Quilted Leather Clutch from the late 1970’s - early 1980’s. This item was originally gold with red satin interior. There is not a serial number on this vintage piece since Chanel did not start putting them on until 1984. Vintage pieces this old are highly sought after!! The leather has been conditioned, carefully dyed, and a finisher has been applied to give it a shine and to protect it. The red interior has been dyed black to cover the pen marks that were there. The zipper is in good condition, with zipper wax just applied. The original 3C’s triangle zipper pull is still attached. Grommets and a Pearl strap with chain underneath added that allows it to be shortened. Measurements: 6.75” x 2.5” x 4.25” The purse is pre-loved, thus why it needed to be cleaned and dyed. Please note, there is a crease along the bottom where the item has been stored. Heat can be used to reduce the crease. **Sunglasses are NOT included. They are there to show size reference.
