Susie the creative founder and Blue Bird Origi also owner, is the epitome of the upcyled dressmaker extraordinaire with her upcycled one of a kind pieces made out of vintage quilt - quilt toppers - doilies lace, and all things mixing new with vintage old... She has an amazing ability to create and sew pieces that are stunning yet practical.For instance, this cute dress has a pocket using all upcycle clothing and material. I bought this piece from her at her recent show at Texas Antique Week in Round Top Texas. But, got it home and it was just a tad too big for me. (so she is sewing me another one!!!)
