ghsmermaid Looking to tap your expertise....I have been shopping (my fav part!), sharing & sharing back, listing in a simple bulletized format now, attending Posh parties, following, offering bundle discounts, open to reasonable offers and welcoming new members. Sales went crazy in the beginning, now they're leveling off. I'm refreshing my entire closet this wk. Do you have any other ideas to help with sales? I feel like I am missing something suddenly....sales! LOL

swirlygurl @vintagesparkles oh and make your titles shorter. Try putting just the brand or the item name there. Leave out size or adjectives like "adorable" etc for the description area. 😀

swirlygurl @dstrobl The item(s) have to be in a bundle. What I sometimes do if I see someone likes a few items is share my listing about "bundling for a private discount" to their dressing room. Sometimes it's worked, sometimes it hasn't. I still don't think everyone understands it.

swirlygurl @vickyrich Hi! Got the discount I send to their personal closet my listing that says to put their likes into a bundle. I’ll share mine to your closet just so you can see. To Style them you choose listing from your closet and again just share it to their personal closet, not everyone. If you don’t know how to share to one person, let me know! erineek Thank you so much ❤️ I'm so happy and thankful you shared my listings and I found your closet!! My question is on basic computer or app functions, I'm not good with. How do you make a listing for ex "bundle your likes?" And insert where you want in your closet. How do I move items I'm my closet to organize a bit? Thank you, you made an awesome and unique closet ❤️

swirlygurl @erineek Hi! Apps I use are ones like Typorama or PhotoGrid and Candycamera. You have to play around with them a bit to learn the different fonts, colors, and many different options they have. To get them in your closet is to create a listing just like you would any other listing and that would be your picture(s). The only way to move things in your closet is to share them in a different order. We all wish there was another way, but there isn’t yet. Good luck and have fun creating pictures! 🌟😀🌟

swirlygurl @erineek Aww thank you 😊. Your pictures look good, no clutter, they’re all facing the right way (not sideways etc). Just be careful of non-compliant items. That could possibly be an issue with not getting sales, Host Picks, or becoming a Posh Ambassador. People sometimes won’t look at closets that aren’t Posh Compliant. You really do have to play with them until you like what you see. Post something anyway if you want one up just to get started.

swirlygurl @erineek ....continued...You’ll get the hang of it. One bad thing to do, and I’m not saying you will, is to “steal” a sign from another closet without asking. That has happened to me so I started putting a watermark on mine of my closet name. It is definitely ok to ask. Usually they say yes because they borrowed it from someone too! Hope I’m helping a little. 🌟😀

erineek @swirlygurl Thanj you. I ordered a mannequin, hopefully that will be easier or look better Yeah, I couldn't just take a sign from someone's closet. But aren't they on Google? So, I made Posh Ambassador last week. Did u see something that was noncomplient? You had scrubs for sale, right? How do they sell? I have a ton🙄 Thanks again for your feedback.

swirlygurl @erineek Congrats on becoming a Posh Ambassador!! Yes you can do a google search for images but you’d still have to add your own words. No I do not have any scrub items or cosmetics in my closet. I find those to be just too risky as the rules are very strict. Check out what I shared in your closet for what I skipped and that should tell you what is not compliant. Check out Support Center/Community Guidelines for more detail. 😄👍

swirlygurl @belinda_kidd Hi! I understand the shopping part. You’ll like posh even more when you list items and start getting money from your sales to use towards buying more! It’s addicting. Most sellers have a bundle discount, very few do not. You would get whatever discount they are offering, and pay just one shipping fee. That’s what great about bundling. Discounts vary greatly from closet to closet between # of items required to make a bundle to get the discount and what the discount % is. 😀

kb_collection @swirlygurl -TY! I posted the Coach stuff that was a result of over shopping. lol Now I'm thinking about listing some of my mother's handmade jewelry. (Jewelry that she makes in her studio.) Since those items are brand new, wouldn't/shouldn't I list them as "Boutique"? How do I go about getting the qualifications to do so? Is there an advantage to listing them as Boutique? Lastly for now- I've noticed sellers sometimes offering a discount on postage. I thought that was a set fee.

swirlygurl @mustanghatley Oh you’re fine. Ppl seem to list almost anything they want as boutique but I would def go thru the official channels. It’s very easy to get approved. I did it but it was a while ago. Go to FAQ, the 3rd page talks about boutiques. I’d start there.

swirlygurl @mustanghatley For shipping rates we can lower them by knocking off $6-$7 from an order for free shipping or $1.50 for $4.99 shipping, etc. a lot of times it’s used when a seller offers a private “Offer to Likers” where it goes to only those who have hit Like on that particular item. ghsmermaid I'm beginning to feel like the more SGs I share with the fewer sales I get. Logic would dictate that if we are sharing with groups then our items are being shared at least say....20x more often then if we were not part of a SG. Have others felt this way? Why does this happen?

swirlygurl @ghsmermaid Hello. I personally agree with you, but I don’t think many others do. People seem to love share groups. I can’t stand them. I’ve been in several over time, but now I’m only in one- Freddie’s Finds. SG’s take too much effort for little payback. Not sure if I’ve made sales from SG’s or on my own. It’s difficult to decipher. Did I help you at all???
