Queen Victoria TRINKET SHELL (Handcradted)

Queen Victoria SEA SHELL TRINKET DISH. You might notice that there are no ridges on this shell, that is because this is a North Atlantic Sea Scallop from New England. Once I receive the Shells, I wash them in detergent and bleach to get rid of the dirt and any odors. Then, I grind the edges to get rid of the sharp edges. Next is to paint the back with 1 or 2 coats of enamel paint to uphold any wear and tear. Next I decoupage the front of the Shell, then I wait until the decoupage is thoroughly dried and apply 2 coats of sealer. Wow, I’m almost done, now I paint the edges of the entire Shell with gold leaf paint and wait again for the paint to dry. Now it is ready to ship to you to place your favorite treasures on it.
