rainydayspour @fryemeup yeah I've had a few things go wrong someone ripped a pair of brand new panties and tried to say I sent it like that no way Jose. And I purchased a purse and it came all dirty so I got a refund. It's all about protecting yourself. I don't know what is wrong with this picture though it's like half cut. Lol

fryemeup @rainydayspour Well I mailed a brand new Cashmere sweater in the package still even dropped the price for this person and she filed a claim that it had a hole in it. Worst week ever and the buyer is always right which irritates me. Now I'm out cash and a sweater😡

rainydayspour @fryemeup yeah that sucks. Take pictures in top of what your wrapping it in take pictures of it wrapped in the box as well. Always always. Poshmark will usually favor both sides and give you your money as well as there money. At least that's what has happened with mine. But I always provide pictures. So you should start. How much did she get you for?

kenzicate @rainydayspour I was wondering how much should I record for each sale? I have a iPhone but unfortunately I’ve got almost all my space filled up🤦🏼‍♀️ (working on getting my photos saved but life happens🤷🏼‍♀️). I record each sale by video recording me packaging up the item/s start to finish. However this process takes up a lot of phone space. Once I’m finished I then upload the video to another storage app & delete it from my phone.

rainydayspour @kenzicate really you only have to photograph them because when a case I opened it only allows you to add pictures to the case not videos so pictures is sufficient.

nopexo I am thinking of you so hard right now. I just sold a pair of Free People boots. It’s currently under review. They are brand new never worn out of my house. I took photo and video of the boots along with the shipping label. I took photos of me packing them in the box. They are claiming that I must of worn the boots after I took the photos with the shipping label..

nopexo Waiting to hear what Posh is going to do in this situation but I am taken back. This is the first scammer I have ever come across on this app in all the years I have been using Posh. Also it looks like they sadly ripped apart the leather inside one of the boots. I’m at a loss for words right now

nopexo @rainydayspour I hate how the photos I took get cropped to the square in this app but I sent them about 12 photos from different angles. I feel like they may have shot themselves in the foot by saying “I must have worn them after I printed the shipping label”. It makes no sense and I printed the label the same day I shipped them. Thank you, that puts me at some ease. Very glad I came across your profile. I loved the whole pricing scale you put up for us as well. ❤️

So do you take pictures of the items condition before packaging and then after it’s all wrapped and packed? Or do you video record the whole packing process? rainydayspour @brookef56 I take pictures before and after packaging sometimes I record if it's an expensive item. Otherwise pictures are fine. Most of the time if a case is opened you can only provide poshmark with pictures. You most definitely should ♥️ and thank you so much hunny.

rosiemaescloset My closet is 2 months old. I haven’t had any issues so far (knock on wood). It’s so sad that people will do these horrible things. I think of it like a surveillance camera in a store, everyone knows they are there. So no one should have a problem with us sellers protecting ourselves. Just my opinion. Would you mind if I utilize your idea? I will make my own photo, just want to try to nip as many problems as I can right from the get go.

shel_renee I'm glad I caught this post. very good idea! have you had issues with lost packages? Since I started selling in September, I've had at least 5 "lost packages" from buyers. I understand they could have been delivered to the wrong address or stolen off someone's porch. I try not to be skeptical about it but I wonder how often people claim they can't find it.. just so they can be reimbursed and get your stuff for free.
