This is a vintage piece, with brilliant blue.A Punu-Lumbo mask is a tribal mask native to the Ogooue River basin in Gabon, especially in the south in Ngounie Province. The masks are Punu masks represent idealized female ancestors' faces. The mask is genderless; white is a symbol for peace, deities, spirits of the dead, and the afterlife. The masks are typically oval in shape, with narrowed eyes, arched eyebrows and small ears. Male dancers are known to wear the mask while dancing. The dimension is 11 inches high by 7.50 wide, with the display stand is 15 inches high.
