This Black and Black Pottery was handmade in the style of Maria Martinez and Quezada-artists who found shards of ancient pottery and recreated it in the 1900s. (It was with a piece from Mato Ortiz that was signed Sandoval) I found this at an estate sale so I cannot confirm its origin. It is signed only with a star on the bottom (It was with a piece from Mato Ortiz that was signed Sandoval). You can feel the fingerprints on the inside. Round bottom comes with free stand for display.
