For those of you on PM that are perhaps new, uninformed or just generally under the assumption that you are in fact the designer, manufacturer or creator of all the products you sell in your closet, let me help you; YOU ARE NOT. ***(Yes, I am aware that some sellers DO create their wares. This PSA is not for them!)*** I have had the opportunity to come across a seller that seemed to think that he/she had indeed created her used clothing items because they had put "time and effort" into their listing... Background to this particular incident: I had 4 items of used children's clothing, 1 NWT kid's item and an adult scarf: Price's 1 Polyester Scarf 12.00 1 2T Nike nylon jacket 14.00 1 M Polo zip up sweatshirt 15.00 1 4T Mickey Mouse Tshirt 7.00 1 XS StarWars sweatshirt NWT 11.00 Total of $59.00 Ok, so my thinking is: 5 tshirt 7 sweatshirt 9 jacket 7 zip up 5 scarf $33 + aprox $10 bucks taxes and shipping is just shy of $45 bucks or about $9 per item. Not 50% off! A pretty decent sale for PM and a pretty good offer for these items. So, and this is where it gets funny... She declines. Ok, so I say very nicely, "A counter-offer is a nice place to start..." What she/he sends back is photo's 2-4. I said nothing as you can see in photo 4. BUT!! What I Should HAVE SAID is photo's 5, 6, & 7. Was I wrong? Maybe? But I don't think so... Let me know your thoughts. Or not. But do learn this: it's used, it's secondhand, you didn't make it. It's not an insult. It's business. She lost.
