Has invisible zipper. Can be tied in front, on side, or back. Please note this romper has been modified from how it was originally sold. Originally it had a skirt flap that went across the front. The skirt flap was cut off and now its just a cute shorts romper. There are a few threads coming out of the seam of one of the shorts, please see photos. If you wanted to meticulously trim them then it wouldn't be ever noticible that it was altered. It didn't bother me as the bottom of the shorts is also purposefully frayed so it all worked together!
