krystalnjoe Love that, I have a cowboy boots canvas picture with the words to that song in my living room, I love music as well mostly country, Hank Williams Jr is my fave , george Jones, my dad listened to all of it and it stuck with me

iwalktheline @krystalnjoe Yeah I’m from Nashville and my Dad always listened to the Grand Ole Opry. When I was young I tried to rebel and listen to only rock, but great music is great music so now I love to listen to so many different artists. My Dad’s very favorite is Kris Kristifferson and he taught me to LOVE him. I’ve run into Vince Gill several times and he’s incredible. I met both of the Everly Brothers and Don Everly lives in Nashville. I had Johnny Cash as a patient once upon a time. Truly magical.

iwalktheline @krystalnjoe That’s really precious! Ring of Fire is timeless in my opinion. June Carter co-wrote it with someone else and Johnny added the brass mariachi sound to it. I had “I Walk The Line” and “Ring of Fire” as some of the fun songs at my wedding.

iwalktheline @krystalnjoe i knew someone who had Waylon as his patient and said he was super nice and classy. My husband and I just love The Outlaws (Waylon, Willie, Kris, and Johnny). I love Marty Ribbins. I was best friends with Doug Green’s daughter (of Riders in the Sky) as a child and I’ll never forget him playing “El Pai” to me.

sunnietrish @iwalktheline I know you reached PA but in my sharing I must have missed this-congratulations! Although I’m an ALT Rock girl I grew up country! Who says they can’t share-look at Hurt -Trent Resner (NIN) wrote it but Johnny Cash still haunts me singing it (btw I did portraits of about 7 big country stars when I got out of college when they stopped at Marineland on tour to sightsee) I was so nervous but they liked them -they wouldn’t let us charge but one snuck me $3 it’s all he had in cash LOL
