overflowz1 @4theloveofstyle let me give you a little hint when it comes to authentic coach bags. On the inside there is a leather patch with 2 sets of of letters and numbers. ALWAYS ASK FOR THE FIRST SET. IT tells when it was made. It should always start with a letter. The letter tells what month it was made. For example. A is January B is Feburary. C is march D is April and so forth. Coach rarely uses I so red alarm on that one. I always go by N MEANS NOT REAL. The letter n is the 14 th letter of the alphabet and there is only 12 months in the year plus coaches no I. So the 14 th letter of the alphabet is NOT REal. The last part of of the 1 st set of numbers on the leather patch tells what number it is in that series. So 01-99 is good. The last set of numbers on the patch tells what kind the purse is. Like poppy or Ashley, tote etc. I hope this helps in your future purchases. Anyone selling a true Coach will not mind taking a picture of the creed ( leather patch) and showing you. Oh yea in that 2nd set of numbers there can be a F at the beginning. It means it was made for their factory.

overflowz1 Mk bags are a little harder. On the inside patch should be in all caps MICHAEL and underneath it in all caps should be MICHAEL KORS. The lining should be either like the patch all through or a capital MK in a circle. Lining should be uniform in color. Most of all look at the stitching. Should be uniform as well. By the way if you see a coach bag with C on the lining it's fake as well. The bigger names GUCCI and Prada should have a date code that the seller does not mind picturing for you. Be sure to google those codes. I'll tag you in my friends post so you will see what I'm talking about.

lalalalola It happens and it is so bad. I too have been scammed a couple if times. I have seen sent fake ss marked 925...China's best JUNK....and a LV, seller said was authentic and was total junk Too. So sorry you too have been taken advantage of. @emilyrubin is correct...there are so many good ppl on posh, some nasty ones too. We need to keep each other informed of those nasty ones. God bless.

adventurissa Thank you!! One, a buyer shouldn't have to ask about authenticity when something is listed with no indication that it's a fake/inspired. Two, I hate that word "inspired" to pass something off as fake. It's counterfeit, not inspired. And three, selling counterfeit merchandise is illegal. You can report it to Poshmark and get your money back.
