skinn Hun did u go and welcome the new girl she dose only have one thing of make up but we talk to her about it sense she just started where trying to tell her the rules but most of all giving her some posh love when I started I had stuff I had to take off I think we all did it but people like us welcome me and then slowly talk to me about the rules I hope u welcome her I sent out a tag to u and about 10 other everyone is trying to show the posh love I miss are talks maybe tomorrow we can visit big hugs and😘

tissue @jblacombe No, that's one of my younger Granddaughters. We have so much fun!! That's my Daughter in the new pics of the pink boho swing dress. She's also cute, but didn't want pics of her face. LOL. I know what you mean about needing a tissue..me, too! Yes, one of the many beautiful things about NM are the vast open spaces. I love that so much. La, on the othe hand, has such beautiful greenery. I especially love the weeping willows!

motherskiss I don't trade bc its easy to get scammed. But is it strictly against posh rules? I share all closets but only items that follow posh rules. That way everyone gets my Posh Love. I've been doing this only since May and learning everyday and make changes almost on a daily basis. @skinn love your comment. Very classy

tissue @motherskiss It's against Posh rules because they can't guarantee the safety of the transaction to either side. It's always such a delicate situation when I come across closets that accept trading or have unsupported items. I follow Posh rules and therefore I don't share closets that trade or have these. I've made mention to several ladies about it and more often than not have had my ears boxed. Not wanting to annoy or have someone be rude when I'm trying to edify them, I simply unfollow that closet. I try to help newbies..being one myself (April), but it doesn't always turn out that way. I've had items that I posted not be in accordance and I had to remove them in order to be followed and shared by share groups. I hope this helps you to understand where I'm coming from. motherskiss Hi, just read the poshmark rules Trading is allowed (although I wouldn't dare) its just not covered under Posh's "safe sales" guarantee. I agree about forbidden items. Even though I have seen some HP picks of swim suits with the seller wearing them...YUCK!!! LOL. Anyway read edizarodriguiz's blog she has some great tips I didnt know about, like if you mention other sites (like vinted or ebay in your closet) were you are selling your items you won't ever get a HP. And you are more likely to get a HP if you have a "Closet Rules" listing that plainly states your commitment to following posh rules. Did you know that even buying forbidden items from other poshers can get you into hot water? Like I said I'm not going to share those types of items but I will share other ok items the seller may have bc I believe this is long and hard learning process. My closet has not been perfect in the past (and maybe needs tweeking now) and I appreciate women like you who didn't condemn me but help keep me on the right track from time to time. tissue Hi, I agree that we all have much to learn from the earlier Poshers. I have a few great contacts you may use for more info @jblacombe @zeyca @jimsprincess @bellanblue.They helped me get more established with my closet. The problem with sharing from a closet that doesn't follow Posh rules is that it puts you in the same position. The notice on share groups is not to share closets that don't follow the rules. Although I want to help by sharing, it's not in my best interest, since I want more exposure to insure more sales, to go against the advice of more seasoned and knowledgeable Poshers. I love that we can dialogue and kick around ideas and advice. I just don't want to take chances. That's why I'm not getting married again! LOL!!

I am following all that you have mentioned and if at some point they have followed me, I have shared something out of their closets, as I do with EVERYONE who chooses to follow me....but only items that follow Posh rules..hahaha, anyway, I've done well and continue to do so bc of Ladies like you!! 😘

skinn @motherskiss I didn't post it I shared it from another poshers closet when I shared her closet I'm like u I feel if someone takes the te to share the love I share all of there closet except for the no nos of posh I'm friends with a lot they don't most don't no all the rules there Amd 3/4 people have something that isn't by the rules I try if I'm not sure I find out when I first started I put a few things on Not knowing and a posher friend helped me but I've made se great friends and I've chose to go exactly by the rules but posh does make money on what they sell that isn't allowed and they know what goes through so I'm thinking that they must not Care a whole lot I just no I heard u will go a lot further by following the rules plus I'm a real follower if you ever have any questions don't hesitate to ask that's how I was in the beginning and I'm here for you if you need anything your posh sister skinn

motherskiss @skinn Hey, girl!! I remember your closet. You had those black pants with the flowers on the front that were just too long for me😔 love your style!! Anyway, I agree with you. I have a few Posh BFF's that are not straight and narrow and they share my stuff religiously and I share their Posh approved items. I don't have the time or the need to go around snubbing people or reporting fingernail polish and hair curlers...I let Posh deal with that...I'm drama free..

skinn @motherskiss I'm with u I do what I do and it's not for me to tell anybody else what they need to do kind of how I love my life I have my opinion people have their opinion it's all good no worries were all different that's what makes the world go round to me all I care about is everybody loving each other and no prejudice no bullying loving gay people straight people bisexual people everybody God made us all different and it's not me to judge so that's what makes the world go round and my biggest thing is love love love love if everyone was like that this would be such a perfect world I can dream

skinn @motherskiss all check out your closet later u should check mine out I've added tons of stuff I even put a back to school section I have tons of back to school if I listed it all I'd have 500 listing if your looking I'm selling it cheap if u have kids and no what size I can tag u with what I find when I cleaned out my daughters closet and drawers I got six black garbage bags of clothes that are hardly were worn are have tags so let me know if your school shopping because I'm selling it cheap trying to give my customers a good deal and empty out my house LOL oh and by the way I love your username

feather_lady Good policy. I don't Follow such Closets, either, especially ones with a bunch of perfume/books/baby clothes. I thought about giving them a quick note about Posh policies, but I don't want the potential hassle of people getting mad at me. I just report the listings and move on.

tissue ji2bear01 I'm sorry you had to experience that. It's like anywhere, there are good and bad. Fortunately for us there are wonderful ladies on here that are worth our time. tissue @boilerup06 It's okay, you're not a jerk. We've all had to learn the in's and out's of Poshing. I give terrible directions but I'll try; look where your closet posts are, ie; closet, likes, settings. In there is a post for Poshmark Etiquette and Poshmark Rules. You'll find the info there. If not, anything you can plug in is not allowed nor are men's, children's or household items. No liquids are allowed through the mail, so any perfume or liquid makeup is also out. No used makeup, even if it's only been tested. No underwear including bathing suits that don't have tags, even if it's new. No books, DVD's, artwork. I'm sure I forgot something. I'll check out your closet and leave a message. A few of the wiser Poshers are @erikagannon @hollynoel25 @jblacome @bellanblue @ridinghood13. They're always available to help. Don't hesitate to ask. WELCOME TO POSHMARK!

tissue @boilerup06 HAHAHA I actually love garage sales but yeppers, you got it. When I started on Posh I had several brand new but without the tags on never worn VS Bras. I was advised to remove them by a lady who has since become my teacher in all things Posh. She has helped me establish a great closet and I've made a lot of sales. tissue Sure! I'm Rosanne. You're have a great start with your closet! Basically, what it comes down to is nothing but women's fashion. New make-up unused, new bathing suits (must have tags) New with tags underwear, pocketbooks (bags), NO liquids..nail polish, sprays, perfume, foundation, etc. NO advertising a business, product or another website. NO off-line transactions ( Trading items, Ebay, etc). Share, share, share!!! Join parties. You'll find an incredible amount of wonderful ladies on Posh who will help with any questions and gladly share their tips for making your closet successful! tissue @bktreasures I was born in Williamsburg and raised in Gerritsen Beach and Sheepshead Bay. That was way back when. 1950's, 60's and 70's respectively. Bushwick was a rough place at that time.

shopbkstone @tissue I've heard! I've also heard many of the now beautiful neighborhoods in Brooklyn were very dangerous years ago. The history and transformation of Brooklyn neighborhoods is quite interesting.

tissue @bktreasures Indeed! When I was young kid my family would go to Coney Island. As a teenager it was dangerous, as an adult we could go there again. Brooklyn is an awesome place. It rivals the city in its diversity. Have fun for me, too!
