Color is Chalk, which is a brushed suede leather in a beautiful rich lavender or lilac purple shade, likely called Chalk because of the cool-white interior on this leather. Characteristics and care of this type of leather can be found on the company's website, so soft to the touch and smells amazing! Almost Perfect and C grade bags from this brand are slightly imperfect but often hard to find any flaws. This one has a few very light rubs, otherwise I see nothing wrong, sits upright and straight on it's own, tight stitching and zipper lays flat. All of this company's bags are intended to weather and gain character so this is expected. The only other flaws to note is that when I pick it up there is a squeaky sound where the handle hardware and leather interact, this may just be because it's brand new and has never been carried and may work out as the leather relaxes once you add contents to the bag.
