Vintage Porcelain Lady Wall Sculpture. The quirky, detailed bust is mounted on an oval plaque in padded velvet with braided trim. Mounting hook on top. Made by Lenwile Ardalt in Japan, circa 1940s - 1950s. This beautifully stylized three-dimensional figure is sculpted in porcelain and hand painted. Every quirky detail is beautifully rendered -- from her floppy, brimmed hat to her textured hair to her long elegant neck and dainty features. SIZE: Measures 9 1/2” by 7” wide. CONDITION: This plaque shows its age in several respects: two well repaired breaks (on her neck and the left side of her blouse, as highlighted in photo #7) and some wear / marks on the velvet.
