The sides of the legs are actually open up to the hip but the tie wraps around the hips for a touch of modesty. I loved these and almost want to keep them but they’re a touch small on me and show a tiny bit too much skin for my office. It might show less on a smaller frame than mine! These are preowned and not in perfect shape but there are no holes or stains and smoke free!
