I have 7 unused skeins skeins but one of the skeins opened so it isn't completely as closed as the others so I am throwing that one in even though it is completely unused. The color is very much what the photo shows. It is a lovely plum that has thickness and softness.According to the label, 10 balls would make a sweater. This yarn is made in Turkey.
