I am a professional landscape photographer so I use my camera to take all of my pics now and I really enjoy styling them and I think it helps to sell items bc they look nice and accurate! I just learned a neat tip: make sure you have the name brand of the item first—eg: Eddie Bauer Cardigan instead of Beautiful White Cardigan. hillaryshouston@elvispants @photogirl67 that is a good tip. It took me a few months to figure it out and once I did my sales went up BIG TIME. Also to show up in Google search results (which is a big way to drive traffic to your closet) use this template for the title. BRAND, COLOR, STYLE, SIZE, CATEGORY

hillaryshouston@elvispants @photogirl67 so instead of "rare vs pink hoodie valued at $400 selling for $20”’ you would put "PINK/VICTORIA SECRET, BLUE HOODIE WOMEN'S SIZE XS " The reason why is because the search bot is programmed to skip over trendy buzz words and irrelevant information and look for the words that are closest to the what is being searched for.

I'll explain, let's say we all have a piece of the puzzle (knowledge, experience, resources, etc) and every one brings together their pieces, we have a beautiful full picture we all can appreciate right?

What you just spoke of just happened to me after listing measurements and clearly showing lots of pictures ( then I got 1 star 😰 I was a bit confused-( I really take pride and a lot of love packaging nicely and ship same day or next day along with thanking each customer-there are some things like sizing out of our control-we have to stick together Thank you - I am still learning and figuring things out but so thankful for Great Poshers like you !❤️🤩

photogirl67@fashonista24 me too! I agree about taking pride in sourcing beautiful items and then listing them appropriately AND packaging and sending beautifully! It’s what makes it fun in addition to making money here: imagining how excited the purchaser will feel when the package arrives and finding it wrapped in lovely tissue with a ribbon and a nice note! The first thing I purchased here came that way and I’ve done the same ever since. So when things go south as you described, it’s a huge downer!
