Please beware of Poshmark scammer and new phishing scheme!

Please beware of poshmark scammer! Lesson learned today to not reach out to buyer outside poshmark platform. Practice skepticism! This buyer sent me screenshot about payments issue and asked me to email the email address from the screenshot to activate my account and fix the issue. Which I never experienced before, I sold item before via poshmark but never run into this kind of issue. I messaged the Poshmark support through poshmark app instead to ask about the issue, then this buyer insisted to message the email address he provided because they are fast in responding. It looks super sketchy. And the screenshot he provided looks fake and a phishing to get personal information from you by reaching out to the email address he provided and will ask you for your personal information so “your account will be activated and receive payment” which is very sketchy. Be careful of this kind of people! UPDATE: Poshmark support confirmed that this is a scam. Please beware as this is still relevant, and there are still scammers in poshmark.
