If you aren’t going to accept the order/rate please do not shop my closet. It hampers the seller’s ability to effectively run their closet. I spend time & energy (like many sellers) packing every order w care to make sure the buyer has the best experience possible. When you don’t accept/rate it holds the funds hostage & ignores the effort we put in. Also, if you aren’t going to ship- DON’T list. This is just rude & it’s becoming too common.

@curious_closet I don’t mind AT ALL! Spread the message girl! I have first hand experience with you many times and you are a WONDERFUL seller! I can’t stand when people do this! It’s really been weighing on me the last couple weeks. I debated posting this but it’s just gotten to the point that I felt like I had to get it out. I know you spend time just like I do packing orders and money adding goodies and it just sucks when people don’t accept/rate their buys.

@curious_closet First thing I do when I get home is rip those babies open lol and then I accept and rate. Because I know what it’s like to be sitting around for days waiting for someone to accept. And I’m not going to lie it bugs me when people don’t at least rate! Especially since I had to start my closet over and am working back towards ambassador status. ❤️ I will never hold your earnings hostage lol

@curious_closet well I had my first experience today with someone rating me with 2 stars and absolutely no explanation and it makes zero sense. She said “item description” yet I provided the websites description & the pants have never been worn. So I can’t even begin to figure out why she did that. Unless it was just petty bc I didn’t accept her offers after explaining price was firm. I’m so confused. I’m frustrated bc I had a perfect rating until now.

@toilandtrouble I have had so many rude buyers lately! For example I accepted a low-ball offer on some Tory Burch shoes and shipped them out two days later. I would have shipped them out next day, but it was a holiday so the Post Offices were closed. I wrapped them and included a card in the package. The shoes were in pristine condition, and the buyer gave me only three stars because “the shipping took too long” I was so angry!

@mtnwanderer that is such BS! I’ve been having bad experience after bad experience lately. I always wrap my items in tissue paper and a ribbon, include a card, and almost always include a small gift like a sheet mask and I ship same day or next day depending on when it’s bought. It just sucks when ppl do that kind of stuff.

@mtnwanderer That lady who gave me 2 stars didn’t even explain why. And frankly if you view the listing there’s no way “item description” was incorrect. They were brand new & I used the website description. If I don’t give 5 stars I ALWAYS explain why in detail.

@toilandtrouble I wish sellers could rate buyers, kind of like how Uber and Air B&B let drivers/renters and customers rate each other! I had a terrible Uber experience once and learned that if you rate low enough, the app won’t pair you with that driver again. It would help sellers on this app know who might affect their stellar ratings, or who is likely to give them lowball offers and then waste their time

@mtnwanderer Yes! 👏🏼 👏🏼 Also, sellers who don’t ship. There’s a girl on here who has sold me and 4-5 other ppl the same hoodie & never shipped. She’s using other ppls pics and bc we all end up cancelling we can’t rate her. She also has it listed on other sites and has multiple closets. I’ve had to cancel 6 orders due to this in the last 2 months

TRUTH!! I open as soon as the package arrives & sometimes even BEFORE Poshmark notifies me that it was delivered!! I check the item & rate (sometimes comment) right away. & if I’m out of town for some reason I have my husband open the pkg., show me pics & then I accept & rate ASAP!!💖 #etiquette #consideration #goodsalesmanship #justbeingagoodhuman
