We’ve got a mama cat and her 5 babies we discovered in our out building about two weeks ago plus a male cat all strays that we are caring for and trying to find good homes for without success. I’m a big fan of rescuing I’ve got two myself. I wish people would be more responsible with their dogs and cats and not just throw them out like a piece of trash. A pet is a life long commitment until they pass

yogijennypenny @corin1965 my parents house attracts stays since it’s near a woods. We have done tnr, in cooperation with the local humane society. They give you the trap with instructions. We had to use this on a female stray after her 5th litter of kittens. They fixed and released her and we took all of her kittens after they were just old enough and HS had foster families take every single kitten. Everybody won. ✨

yogijennypenny *the stray fixed mama did however yowl and give us sad cries because she couldn’t find her kittens. This made everyone’s heart sad in the moment. In the long run, it gave every cat involved the best chance at a better life. ♥️

denimandiamonds Yes, I saw your pictures of your furry babies. Did you see my babies under my picture. Can you believe they were abandoned. The older one died 3 weeks ago. The little guy is lost without him, so Saturday we are going to the shelter to pick up 12 week old Tinkerbell, a tiny tiny of a litter, but beautiful to us

sunnietrish @corin1965 all of the 5 cats in my lifetime were strays that found me & 2 from shelter all lived to 17 & 18 yrs I believe because they were indoor kitties& my huge feral cat also just turned 17 ( found under a bush by the college eyes closed 2wks old dog got his his mom & sis nearby so he was bottle fed & now 16 lbs & I know he thinks I’m his mom follows me from room to room! He’s so big & such a baby!

Have you seen the research on a cat’s fur color and personality correlation? Black cats statistically have more stable personalities and are generally more friendly!! luxs4luv We have done the TNR, we have 2 Beauties that are now Community kitties since we were able to get with a local nonprofit agency that gives you the Humane, Safe traps to do catch & release as well as do the vaccinations, ear tipping, and spay & neuter the cats all for Free or donations, with Gods help we have been able to donate to this amazing organization & volunteers as well as provide a safe out door retreat to feed & love on these cuties 🐱 🐱.

She caught them all, about 15 & took them to the pound to SNR & picked them up & brought them back as most of them grew up here… the poor thing got asked to move soon after covid so I now help feed the crew….and of course have 1 for that adopted me that lives in my Cozy garage ❤️💜❤️

That’s like saying a persons color is bad luck- which is prejudice- so why is it not ok to say to humans- but yet ok to say to our beloved cats? beautifulpple I once lived in a neighborhood fulll of stray cats totally full. One we adopted only to find out a neighbor “ claimed her” so we had to let her out occasionally. We housed fifteen cats at one point each adorable. Each one was so unique obviously all were once living w people. We didn’t spat or neuter any though. I also found a home for a kitten. My young child named each cat in the neighborhood creative names,, like baseball kitty, goody kitty, etc it was alll be cause of him

corin1965 @beautifulpple The best thing we can do for strays besides adopting them is get them fixed to prevent more homeless cats. Most cities have a program with the county or Humane Society.

erinuporsky1217 @corin1965 - I just adapted 2 twin black 5 month old kittens! They are indoor only & I found out at their vet appointment that they are part Bombay & American short hair. They are so in love with each other & I am so in love with them! They sleep curled up next to each other, groom each other & eat together. It’s been 3 years that I’m in remission & lost my therapy cat Punkin’. I didn’t realize how much I missed the unconditional love of pets. Love your listing! 🦋🍀Erin

jeanmarie3175 @corin1965 I LOVE this listing! I adopted 2 kittens, brother and sister, 2 years ago from a TNR group who found these 2 together but weren’t totally feral. The woman knew I was looking to adopt 2 kitty’s so she contacted me. She didn’t want to put these 2 back out there after neutering so I adopted them. I gave $240 as a donation toward their mission. They were very shy in the beginning but now they are 2 years old and they both escort me around my house wherever I go. I love them both so much.

(It’s how all 3 of my now indoor cats got saved and are all live the great life indoors in the comfort of my home! ❤️ 🐈 🐈‍⬛ I also have successful indoor homed 3 others kittens that his way as well. treeboots I run a small shelter for cats that have been dumped off here (I live in a rural area). Got them all spayed/ neutered (the local shelter wouldn’t take them). They eat well and get any medical attention necessary. It’s costly, but I love them! 💜

robi2trvl @corin1965 That's a lot. When I lived in the country in 1980, I had 33 cats, 5 dogs, a pig or an opposum. All were spayed or neutered & had their shots. I miss those days!
