Honestly I have no idea what that really means but what I do know is the controller works great because my 14-year-old and 16-year-old sons used it and we kept it hooked up to our TV in the living room and used the PlayStation to watch TV also so I've used it to control the TV and it worked perfectly fine. I actually also have a couple more controllers as well.
