Pirates Black Varsity Jacket stater style vintage jacket. Large tall.

Show your team spirit with this stylish Pirates varsity jacket. Featuring a bold black color and iconic vintage Pirates logo. This is from May 30,1986. It has on small red tattoo ink stain that has been pictured. Otherwise, the jacket is in superb shape for its age. The best part for me, is that it has no inside liner. It is not quilted on the inside of the jacket. You can layer it with a hoodie and retain a sleek slim profile. I am uncertain of the composition of the materials the jacket is made of, but it feels just like a starter jacket. This jacket is super rare because excluding the liner was a practice that was not widely used in manufactured starter or starter type jackets. It was a real 80s practice to have functionality and warmth all in one jacket. This is an “on the field” jacket. It was probably used in double or triple A ball. It can also serves as a raincoat without the fear of the cotton lining getting damaged. The lining was never removed, this is how these were made. It will fit an XL fine although it’s a L tall or “long” as it states on the tag of the jacket.
