Domestically sourced heirloom non-GMO open pollinated seeds - you’ll receive 20ish seeds of this perennial favorite. They create green seed pods after the pink flowers are done but dry the the pods after harvesting them- don’t worry if they’re brown on the outside as long as the seeds are black on the inside. Pink bleeding heart flowers bloom all Spring. The pictures show what it will grow to look like, the video shows late spring flowering slowing down and seed pods appearing. If it’s happy where you plant it, they can get quite large like a small shrub (see photo). They will come up in early spring looking like the last photo then leaf out more- Give two-plus feet all around where you plant it, eventually it will fill in. An early bloomer for bees, and will grow in shade! Likes moist soil- it even grows in clay soil. Leaves start to dry and turn golden before dying back in extreme summer heat but these will then come back the next Spring from the roots so you can cut back the dying greens when it starts looking scraggly. I send seeds from my own flower farm so you know it’s not some other plant. Small black seeds are the size of a mustard grain. Plant them (fall/early winter) so they establish and come up next Spring! New shoots are tiny 1” plants - the leaf shape will be your indicator. Request seeds if you’re ordering another item and I’ll throw extras in for you, if I have them. Bundle these with other seeds to your cart and I’ll send you a real nice offer!

fallinginstyle Can I plant these now to come soon and last through the winter to add foliage and color to my other perennials that are about to go dormant due to the season change?

realjerzgirl @jennlackey31 this is a tender perennial that comes up in spring, blooms then goes to seed but the greenery will stick around until it gets real hot out- then the greenery dies back at which time I trim them back to the ground. So it really depends on your climate for when that would happen. But autumn is a good time to plant these seeds. However the first year will be just baby plants and unlikely to look like much.
