I'm 5'3'' and the length fits me perfectly - you can roll up for a more casual look. They came with a little worn/tear on one knee for a distressed look. The straps aren't perfect—they are long and somewhat difficult to undo, which I never did. I always loosened one of them and slipped it over my shoulder to take it off, but that never bothered me.
