BNWOT This is a Philips 6-foot DVI cable (2 pair) designed for use with HDTVs and home theater systems. The packaging indicates it has 24-karat gold-plated connectors for optimal signal transfer.  DVI stands for Digital Visual Interface, a video connector that was developed to transmit digital video signals from a source device to a display. It is important to note that a standard DVI cable is designed to transmit only video signals and does not carry audio. For a complete audio-visual setup, a separate audio cable would be required.
