Pheasant and Ivy Lid Oval Dish 9.75"L clear with pink cast

Pheasant Glass Lid on Oval Dish - 8.25"H with lid. Dish 9.75"L x 6.75"W rim to rim - Has the slightly pink cast to glass - Gorgeous preowned condition with no chips, cracks or discoloration. As with all preowned glass, slight surface scratches will be present. This glass was lightly used. No deep scratches or utensil marks. Cannot verify this is an Imperial Glass dish as there is no trademark, label and is size different. Beautiful, covered dish all the same. Of note: The lid is topped with a female pheasant standing in ivy. This looks very much like the Oval Covered Pheasant Bowl by Central Glass although their pattern had fancy scallop around rim of dish. The length of their dish was 8 5/8". Around 1939, Central Glass closed and sold their molds to Imperial Glass. Their pattern was called Atterbury Dove on Nest Box, 8.5"L. Some of these dishes had IG logo on base and lid while later they just had a blue and silver label.
