Good question. I wear an american size 6. I find that looking at the Centimeters length is better. In this case. The Euro 37 was way huge on me. It says a 36 is a size american 5. Honestly, an American siz 5 is insanely small in me, but with this boot that is what I needed, a 36.

*Continue comment*...It could be because the overall boot cute is very roomy. A 36.5 was ok. I chose a 36. Maybe it is because I measure an American length 5 on my left foot,and 6 on my right foot/I am not sure what you measure./ I measure 23 CM's on my right foot, & 22 CMs on my left foot. Hope this helps

I suggest you measure the length of each of uour foot. I gave you my measurements. With a 36.5 you will have room. If your foot is thin like mine, you will be able yo wear think socks. I added an insole and it gave me comfort and filled in the extra space. You can find insoles on amazon. It will give you that extra cusion
